For schools · Class 1 to Class 7

See every class on the 33 levels.

The class moves at one pace, and some children still count on fingers. The gap shows only when the exam papers come back.

Example school. Made-up counts. Counts only, never names.
  • The school: every class on the 33 levels, at one look, and its own arithmetic championship.

  • The teacher: the step each child is missing, so the level is taught to the group that needs it.

  • The child: a level that fits them, ten-minute sittings at home, and no ranking in class.

Homework at home. Not class time.

  1. The teacher chooses the class's level for the week.
  2. Children practise at home, in ten-minute sittings.
  3. Parents set the daily limit.
  4. Class time stays class time. No devices for the school to buy.

Which step each child is missing.

  1. The teacher sees their own class, level by level.
  2. A level that many children need shows "Needs a group lesson".
  3. Tap that level to see which children need it.
  4. MathKidoo does not rank children. It shows the level each child needs next.

Every class, level by level. Counts only.

  1. The principal sees the whole school, class by class, on the 33 levels.
  2. Each level shows how many children are sure, how many are filling a missing step, and how many have it still to climb.
  3. Counts only. No child is shown by name.
  4. Where fewer than 5 children share a level, the board says so, without a number.

Built for a real classroom.

A level for every child.

Not one pace for thirty children.

Counts, never names.

No child is named or set against another.

What we have proved, and what we haven't.

The method is built on established learning science, and we can show you the paper. What we have not done is run the controlled trial that would let us say it beats chanting. That trial is designed and it is next. Until it reports, we will not claim it — and you should be wary of anyone who does.
